Brief from client
Unique, and simple.
Other car hire firms have tires/gears/anything car related things in their logo. The goal is to make one that is unlike other firms. The idea is waves and the letters J, M and A. Look closely and you can see the letters are shaped to make the wave crests.

Dark background, good contrast.
Using circles as grids.
Some minor refinements, this one is definetely more simple. Also the letter R in the url text is clearer.
Website mockup.
I wish I could get some feedback. It would make my day. :)
Sorry, I don't feel there's of much a significant improvement since the first version.
I don't think it really brings anything good to add an extra arch to the symbol. I know you want it to spell JMA but it just complicates things. It's ok to subtly evoke the brand initials, like you did the your initial version, though.
The word mark is still difficult to read. The pointless absence of space between words and that god awful faux futuristic font are at fault here. Keep things simple: a good professional looking font (www.losttype.com www.fontsquirrel.com), with proper tracking and kerning. Don't complicate things with fantasy types you picked up on DaFont.
And my earlier comment about that logo giving a misguiding vibe, at least when on its own, still stands. A wave to symbolize car rentals doesn't look like the greatest idea, at least to me. And I don't think this logo can make a strong enough impact to be recognize immediately for what it is
