Brief from client
A simple brand for a small film production company.
Should I keep it nice and simple like this or add some ligature flourishes? I will probably add some distressed texture and colour to it when I have decided on a final design. Any recommendations welcome.

I'm liking this a lot! I would keep it like this but just add a Ligature between the C and r or at least clean that section up a little.

This is pretty nice! I wouldn't add anything.
2 things I would change though: I would remove the little tail below the buckle of the R. It would simplify the whole thing as well as making the interaction between the C and the R easier.
I'm not sure of the font for the subtext. It's a bit too sturdy, especially since the main font is already pretty thick. I would pick a more contrasting type.
Overall, this is a pretty good job!
Agree with the above, but I read " Owde " at a first glance in small presentation.
