Parallel Sound

I think this logo is off to a great start. The symbol could be simplify further though.

I really like the font selection here, the two weights are nice together. it is clean and crisp and the sans serif definitely works for a clean approach which is good for a sound studio. I "might" try opening up the tracking only slightly, yet if it doesn't work command Z!

The icon is not working at all. Back to the drawing board on that one. It looks like an icon for the sun with rays coming out of it in a box. There are tons of things you can look up for sound like, sound waves, etc., but, I do like the simplicity, except for the dots on the lines.

Like the dark blue as well. Don't feel the red is working though, the more I look at the icon I think of some kind of light source, like a bulb, flashlight or the sun an I think the red is pushing that direction. Just throwing out an idea but maybe a nice light shade of green, purple or another blue that compliments the one you have. Good start.
