Tiny House Construction

Brief from client
Client is starting their own tiny house company where they design and sell the layouts of tiny homes, as well as build them.
They have a more modern approach to their designs that I wanted to capture.
It's off to me too- think it is the slimming line that leads to the house- makes the box feel off on the angle (even though it isn't- it makes that illusion).
Not fond of this at all. It's just the generic house logo crammed into the generic cube logo. Reducing the image for print would be a nightmare.
Would you be able to get mockups or pictures of the client's house projects? It'd be neat to make a graphic based on one of their actual home designs; would give it a personal touch.
I am also wondering if the client is looking for a logo more focused on the "tiny" or "construction" aspect. Tiny makes me think of a cute logo, and construction makes me thing something more industrial. Not the easiest themes to combine!

I like the font, but what is the idea behind the mark? Something seems a bit off about it to me. A house in a box?
