PBF

Brief from client

We need a logo wich doesn't look simple, because we want our clients to remember us.

PBF Cristales is a company from Peru and it's in the glass intallation bussines, and everything that has to do with it. They install windows, as they install glass doors for showers.

Thanks for your help!

...but sometimes simple, stunning logos are more memorable than something that is more complicated. I get what the blue diamonds are about, but what are the black parts and why are they the shapes they are?

With such a terrible brief to start from, the client isn't really helping you.

Simple should not be confused with simplistic. Nor does complex should be mistaken for complicated.

A simple logo can be remembered for ever. Think Nike, McDonald's, Shell...

Saying that a logo has to be "not simple" to leave a lasting impression is ludicrous and uneducated.

Now, about your logo, it is not really working because of that terrible brief you got from the client. This is something that needs to be fixed. Here are 10 questions you should ask them https://tinyurl.com/yd6cesex It should help you with having a better vision of what they need, rather than what they want.

Because contrary to many opinions I've seen over here about the word of the client being all powerful, they most of the time don't know how logos and brand identities are made. That's why they ask a pro. If they just see you as a tool to execute what they have in mind, the chances are they wind up with a crappy logo.

Keep it up!
