Brief from client 

A logo I'm designing for my university esports team; Watt Wolves.

Hello, I don't really have any experience in graphic design, but I've given it my best shot. I think my main issue is the font, it just doesn't feel quite right. I'm also not sure what colours to go with, so theres a few alternatives in the comments. Thanks

For someone who doesn't have much experience in graphic design, this is not half bad.

First off, I'd remove the circle. It serves no real purpose and doesn't let the symbol breath.

Spend time fine-tuning the curves on the back of the hound and how it connects into the lightning symbol.

I'm not a fan of the font. I understand what you went for, but this is not a really good font. That R looks terrible.

This is a pretty good job so far. Keep it up!
