Brief from client 

This is a logo for a company that sells wigs and long hair extensions.

For the final version the client requested pastel colors and and an "ombre" effect.

Nah this is definitely not working. The super-bright gradient on a plain white background makes the logo simply unreadable.

Plus, these super pastel tints totally cheapen it and gives absolutely 0 idea of luxury. For me, it goes against the purpose of this logo.
