Instead of black do a steel grey
Put more of a separation between the symbol and text
Define the symbol a little more, right now it kinda reminds me of pepsi

What does this graphic represent? Even a made up company needs an image they're trying to brand. Also lose all the effects. This is very similar to Comfort Suites logo

No. Icon is generic and too similar to lot of existing logos. You need an original creative idea, you can't just use a Pepsi logo and modify it for a bank.
I made a very similar character not counting typography, also for the bank ....

Bad execution (compared to the stock logos). Please no gradients, no lights, no shadows.
