I think that if you are going to make comments, be constructive. Some of these people are here to LEARN from your comments. I have looked at a lot of your comments and most of them are degrading and very unhelpful. If you were half the "designer" that you think you are you would have no problem giving out your help with gladness. You are WAY TOO HIGH ON YOURSELF!!!!!!!
BTW I have looked at your work......
Funny, I thought my comment was clear enough but since you, as you say, are here to learn I will 'gladly' provide you with some specifics regarding your logo.
1. Steaming cup of coffee is a standard clipart that can be bought for $2 from any stock site. This type of clipart has been abused and overused in millions of 'coffee' logos. Hence, no real creativity here.
2. Microsoft colors patched square is one of the most overused and abused color combinations ever. Once, during russian avant-garde period a multi patched square like this was considered a form of art. Alas, great russian maestro Kazimir Malevich did all that long time ago. I admire his works but your derivative of this square again shows no real creative idea.
3. Typography. You mixed 2 types of typography that by any laws of good taste and measure cannot stand together. Both are very ugly and badly executed.
If you were my student I would have kicked you out of my class permanently for this abomination.
4. Graphic composition. Your composition is way off and illogical thanks to mixing of historically un-mixable elements in this logo. There is no regard for the 'golden rule' and your execution of the whole concept is, to mildly say, disappointing.
Everything that is numbered here shows that you had no real idea what you were doing in this logo. You show no knowledge of contemporary typography and very obvious lack of skill for professional execution.
The only good advice I can give you is to study hard before you make another attempt at designing a logo.
Since you stated you are here to learn, take my advice and get back to learning.
P.S. I forgot to adress your observation about my comments being degrading and unhelpful.
The worst sin anyone can make is to give false hope to someone who hasn't got a chance at succeeding as designer. You only have one life and it's short.
better spend it doing something you are good at and enjoying it then facing humiliation and failure every day because polite people told you 'you can do it' and you didn't get the right message.
It's a tough world out there, if you fail at creativity you are worth nothing in this job.
And to conclude this rant, yes my comments are often offensive for a good reason - I don't give people false hope. And unhelpful? That's a matter of personal opinion.
Generally, my comments are never unhelpful, your perception of them depends on your intellect and your ability to comprehend their true meaning.
Number one, this is not my logo so your critique was a waste of time!
You are pretty quick to jump on this and be even more offensive so I would assume that you sit on this site looking for more ways to show your &%#!
I never said to LIE to anyone, but the fact that you DEGRADE instead of giving helpful hints shows what kind of intellect that you work from.
I would NEVER choose to be your student because I know that a good teacher would guide and bring out the best in her student even if it were in a totally different direction.
To see ONE design and conclude that they have no chance of success is ridiculous!
I am glad in the midst of your rant you can see that your comments are offensive, but I am so sorry that you see it as for good reason.
Your comments reflect who you are as a person. Need I say more....
YA THINK??????? :}
Everyone knows it's a cruel world.
I guess where I went to school was a fairy tale then. The teachers did tell you when something would not work, but they were not offensive about it and they gave out suggestions to make it better. In my professional life I have been told when something would not work or to change it, but they were adult about telling me so. Just made me work harder. They didn't FEEL the NEED to degrade.
Dog-eat-dog world, sure it is.......
Dogs sniff butt and turn around to eat their own poop, doesn't mean I have to join in....
I don't blame "real life" for the choices I make.
That would mean being a complete idiot is a CHOICE!!! Get It??? :}

Clipart.
Spend more time brainstorming. It pays.
Start Over
How about a solid coffee cup and colorful steam mark?
You really need to work on type that works.
Everyone is a designer nowadays, sigh.
No, in case you were wondering, this is not a good logo for a myriad of reasons and it's not going to work.

You are so naive it's almost cute, like you are living in a fairy tale.
Sooner or later you will face real life.
Boy are you in for a surprise...
