Brief from client
Sao Paulo railway line.
Well, it represents the integration of train and subway lines of the CPTM.
Do you really see this as a logo on a railway line? It is so generic that it could mean anything. I think you should create something a bit more obvious.
The type does not work, when I think railway I think industrial and this just doesnt represent a solid strong looking font.
I do not like the color choices
The symbol needs a lot of work
Loose the box around the type
Work on positioning your symbols more to
I am not trying to discourage you from graphic design but, you need to study more about it before attempting another logo. It seems like every logo you put on here is just so far away from where it really should be. I would suggest looking into books such as logo lounge so you can see hundreds of logos and see how other people in the world are creating them. Dont every copy any ones ideas just look at styles, how the logo was executed and colors. Just doing that will help you more than you know.
i think you need to go to the drawing board again for this one. the symbol to the right really doesn't strike me as railway to be honest. but that's just my opinion. i think you should play and test out different options.

This is the original of the Company.
Are they changing this? Other than the font and placement of the elements I think it rocks.
Here's an idea~ give them an updated version of the original logo. Clean it up- center it and give it a decent font. LOTS of companies do that.
The policy chains of colors is used in the layout of the stations.

The original graphic mark is actually very decent, typography is not but... compared to what you made for them, the old logo is a superstar.
