What the heck, I'll risk it.
Yes, I decided to use one of the seven wonders of the world - St. Basil Cathedral, as one of the symbols of Russia known worldwide. Hey, I can only try - is that a crime?

You would think with almost a year long development time that this logo would be finished already brankica!

When creating a logo, you're not supposed to use elements you didn't create yourself. Doing so is the antithesis of creativity, and quite frankly, it's just lazy and dishonest. You seem to have decent skills, you don't need to resort to such cheap methods.
Ho and, by the way, there are already 7th Wonders of the World. St Basil Cathedral would the 8th.

Cesar, in that the logo that you upload - everything is stolen : a background is a logo that was used in 2002 joint World Cup held in S. Korea/ Japan , a ball is a ball that is used in Europian Champions League, St. Basil Cathedral was taken from a museum exhibit, FIFA font and frame were taken as well. As as far as for my version - the rules of the competition were allow to use only one symbol per entry; soccer equipment or symbol of a country. So, I didn't broke any rules.
It's just an example of what not to do.
I agree with that one must have originality and leave their own mark on what is being done.
We should not supplement a job with elements other than our imagination.
Dear take a breath go out and have some fun change & relax your mind and start again i am sure you will come out with more ideas.
