Brief from client
The project was to create a brand for Jetlite. To develop an image for JetLite that would be used in airports, on its website, and across all the consumer touch-points.
Jetlite Airways classified itself as a value based airline, it promises to offer value for money and economical fares to 30 domestic and 2 international destinations.
The philosophy was to articulate Jetlite as a simple, fast, and cost-effective airline. The brandmark conveys a modern & contemporary image while retaining the high standards as where the wordmark assures travellers they’re flying with a smart and professional airline.
A youthful color scheme creates an optimistic imagery across all elements of the brand.

i like, I think all of the element are correctly executed and work together. good job. probably just make both of the tails on the yellow arrow the same length.
Agree with Natman - the symbol is lacking. But, I'm not sure if better execution will work (although it is needed). It looks a bit jumbled to me. Maybe different placement will work better?
Your font is similar to that used by jetBlue. That might be an issue.
how is it going to be an issue , just because they both used san serif typefaces? the colour pantone isn't even the same, neither is the logo mark.
Because they are in the same business. Just like you cannot design a logo for a company named ABC that makes computers and uses the same fonts as IBM. I would ask my copyrights lawyer if I were you, just in case.
Look for info about the Nebraska Educational Television Network vs National Broadcasting Company case.
Looks pretty out of place and childish for an airline company.
I don't see it working like this.
The letters are too compressed together and the symbol is too generic.
