This is not too bad.
Right off the bat, get rid of that horrendous bevel effect. It's cheap and cheesy as hell. It only makes your logo look amateurish.
Beside that, the symbol isn't too bad. I like how it looks kinda like a shield.
The font is fine but way too thin, it almost disappear in the thumbnail version. It also feels disconnected from the the symbol. Try having both in the same thickness, to create a nice visual harmony.
Keep it up!
Seriously, change your name to
«Josiah of Art» and finish that logo as a shield.

I like this version better minus all these effects, of course. In a way it resembles some type of a wild cat with a curve tail.
