Um I'd have to disagree, and for the following reasons...
The Idea: Just placing a Tire in front of a glossy circle with on par font isn't what I would consider a "great logo" here. Imagine all of the cool tire logos you can do! When I think of tire shops, I think motion, something moving, something rolling. In fact, if you see people work on them, it's a more interesting process than you would think!
The symbol here, while you seem to have your elements in the right place, and by that I mean that you are willing to use a tire as a logo which could be a good direction for you, it still requires that you to find a good way to use it..

Only thing determines whether this logo is dope or nope depends on..
Remove the realistic tire. I think it just kills it. overall, its a great logo.

Hope this helps!
Yup sorry, but I agree with Gigafrost (who knows his shit =), this is certainly not a great logo for all the reason he pointed out.
Never use a photograph in your logo.
That font is typically the one free font you see in a lot of in-house made logos for garage and any vehicle related company.
pretty much what they said above. i don't see any "concept of a logo" at all
ok
