Brief from client
Design is for an insurance company that markets different products and also provides an income opportunity to the policy holders / members offering them an opportunity to attain financial freedom. The logo has to incorporate financial freedom and protection (insurance) through the company's products. Company wants a contemporary look rather than formal insurance / finance industry look.
The centre human with outstretched arms represent financial freedom and the colour curve represents the company's products and protection / insurance.

very nice, confident but not over serious. The asymmetrical base of the figure struck me as odd, because everything else is symmetrical. Is the base pointing at the green color?
Yes I thought to change the base slightly and put it at an angle for two reasons 1) the financial freedom / income opportunity the client markets is actually packaged as their green (growth) product so the freedom "comes from" the green 2) leaving it square at the bottom actually makes the figure look like a goat's head and horns a little so the asymmetrical base almost "turns" the figure slightly side ways making it look more like a person with outstretched arms which achieves the objective. I would look into them for insurance.. i like the modern happy look not the big company formal look.

How about turning the colored half-circle a little clockwise, say about 45 degrees, just to break the symmetry... protecting the person from the side, rather than from the bottom????
