Brief from client
Magazine about International Rights
The idea whas to relate with the balance (the object). Do you think that's visible/understandable, and what do you think about the brand in general?
Hi Brendan! Thank you for the opinion! I tried to shift the rectangle above the A to the baseline, but it didn't sound good which led me to the present solution. How you think I could improve that?
My initial impression is this: See the attachment.
So it goes for the idea and symbol.
Typography wise, actually I would give it a "So-So" thumb, if this critics has that feature.
Why?
I think: The typography of the logo is connected to how your magazine lay out and who the audience is. To me that typeface looks more techie and geeky. Maybe because everytime I see them it reminded me of the attachment below.
Colors, my comment: Black is good, it looks serious, and it also goes if your magazine just in case have to be in black and white.
Not bad. Well balanced. But I wonder if there's something more that can be done to tap into the concept of "International Rights" or even the fact that it's a magazine. As it now stands, it could be a typography logo for anything. Isn't there anything you can which helps communicate the mission of the organization. Or even the fact that it's a magazine (for example, one of the "A"s can be an upside magazine, tented).

This is pretty sweet as is! I like this more than the stamp version, it looks like it would be a Magazine co.
Like... I don't know about PACTA but like! LOL

Very thankful for the opinion Nameki!
I don't think it's balanced because the lines give more weight to both A's in the PACTA. The text is cool even though it's just black.

Sorry, I don't like it. The only balanced are the As. All the other letters are in the air. I don't like the design of letters.
Sorry dude, my opinion.
Thank you for the opinion Vasilios! The balance is the object not the concept of balance
Looks really neat. Good job on that one.

its fresh and looks straight
This is nice. I don't however get a feeling of "balance"
