I like the style, but I can't read what it is either. It also becomes impossible to decipher the shape on a black background (my screen might be too dark haha)

It is well done, and legible to me (on the white background at least).

However, I have never liked the whole 'folded ribbon' words / logos / anything concept and will not rate it on such grounds.

Regardless, it is well folded.

It looks nice but unreadable. I do not know why you use the gradient, any particular reason?

I like the second option as well, while the third one is too plain compared to the other two.

There actually is no gradient, that's what I thought at first. I hat to say it but this is actually pretty dope.
