Brief from client
personal logo
This is a personal logo for my own creative company. The symbol itself is meant to represent "breaking the box" with the lightning bolt symbolizing the creative energy striking through it.
The word "Raiworks" comes from the Japanese word "rai" which means thunder or lightning.
Lastly, the tagline summarizes the goal of the company. Break free of your boundaries and create ideas that change what you thought were your predetermined limits. A bit of a motto and a philosophy put into three words.
The tagline is Heroic Condensed while Raiworks is Handelson One after smoothing out the rough edges of the original font.

My first thought is the letter i- I understand the bolt coming from it, but without the dot and in this cursive font it looks like a 4 legged w to me.
Without the dot on the i, I read "Rauvorks"
I'm not a fan of the tagline. It sounds a bit too ominous and self righteous for an agency.
I'd stay away from the "breaking/thinking outside the box" thing. It's the most non creative idea ever, to me at least.
While I appreciate the thought you put into this, the concept is a little too far outside the box for me. Create Your Fate seems more of a tag line for a dating site than a creative company, Not sure what you mean by creative company int the first place, think tank?, design?, fine art?, ? Most importantly though with the cursive font it reads too easily as RAWORKS.
Thanks for the valuable input. I had similar thoughts on the i when I was putting it together and wanted to test this version first to see if my doubts were well founded and sadly they are. I will be uploading another version later with the graphic on the left side and no tag line.
The company is a bit of everything, graphic design, fiction writing, texture art for 3D modeling, motion graphics, etc.
I'm not married to this at all, so your honesty is appreciated.
