Client wants an abstract logo based on the Celtic mythology goddess Sirona

This mark won't stand up, but if you simplified it, it would work. I don't think this font is working for you, and once again- work on the symmetry and lose the swooping effect of the type. Don't change the color of the text in the middle of the word. Lose the drop shadow.

I would try versions without the symbol in the middle. Or shrink this down so it reads as an O (and lose the O). Right now Sironas looks like it has horns..you don't want anyone to have that impression, even subconsciously.

Still not working.
Here is an idea for a quick fix: use this graphic to create a separate graphic mark (incorporate letter 's' in it). and make logo text clean in one size.

Investment guys like those noveau riche golden/crimson laurels, most of them are highly delusional about intricate and complex golden laurels making them looking rich and famous.
But I know for sure that is exactly what those visually impaired hillbillies love.
