Brief from client
A mate of mine is about to start up his own business as an electrician/sparky. He is calling his business Smart Sparkz.
After many sketches I have polished up this version for critique. The icon itself represents the name of the brand quite nicely, but I would like your thoughts on this how it looks and would stand up as a brand.
My client would like to have a colour scheme of Blue/Red, but I think this logo sets itself in black and also just using a shade of blue – trying to keep it simple.

I think "SMART" is a little light.
I would definitely do away with that little zap on the top of the Z.
I am assuming that the symbol is a brain. I think it could look more like a brain... it's a little too loose.
Overall I like it. Just those little tweaks and I think it will be successful.
the idea is nice, just i think you can refine it a little more, and the types, try with differnt ones, but good job
i like where you heading...play with the symbol more and the font and see what happens.
If that's a brain then it need a lot of rework. It looks like it has been kicked like a soccer ball for a few days. No need to make it look like italics.
I like the font but would remove the little angle from the "Z".
Symbol needs more work, typography is fine, just remove that spark on the 'z'.
