I don't like the idea of using imagery that looks like or is supposed to represent hair in a logo thats supposed to sell food. Food and hair as a combination has negative connotations.

Text is looking good though.

I know it's a restaurant but you dont have to be direct. Loose the circles coming off the chef hat and loose the chef hat

Color wise it looks like a wave of dirty water and I would not want to eat at restaurant the portrayed that especially in East Africa.

Try making the colors of the wave shades of light blue to give a clean crisp feel.

Your font choices are fine but there are spacing issues. It just needs to be kerned better

i would get rid of the hat....i like the rest. You could play around more with the wave but i like this one too

Looks like the symbol was composed with four different graphics: the hat, the ear ring, the waves in the foreground, and the waves in the background.

The color of the waves is not inviting even if they are made of fudge. It looks like mud or hair, like briankav notes.

take off the rings…and make the symbol more exhaustive and immediate!

Lot of people pointed out the obvious flaws so I am not going to repeat that.
I would suggest you play on waves inside a circle/letter 'O' as a simple graphic mark and adjust color scheme to 'ocean feel'.

I like it. The idea in the symbol is so interesting and interactive. But, i have suggestions for your job be better.
- Loose the circles in the left.
- Loose the details and make the principal symbol more horizontal.
and try other applications of position of the elements as options.

Get rid of the hat and unnecessary flourishes and work on the execution of the wave.. brown seems like an odd choice. I would use blues and/or greens.

ocean change color to real color of ocean.and the hat its common change it not good.and the earring what is the purpose there?make it appropriate.and the word ocean restaurant is too small not balance with the symbol,make the restaurant thick.
