So like I said in the other critique, I like the IDEA of this, but I don't think it's executed properly. (But I do see that it's a 'rough idea' - so that might be why.)
For starts, I immediately think of the printing challenges. You'd have to get this done digitally and even then it might not be as bright and happy as you want it to be. (It would be really expensive to create this logo on a press.)
The main (black) font also strikes me as too plain/boring, and again I'd like to see it kerned out to the width of the logo or at least made bigger by a point or two. But again, maybe that's just tossed in there as a placeholder on a rough draft!?
Last thing, and this is me just being super nit-picky. But why are the lines so squiggly? To me it feels like the d's are hanging by threads- which makes me wonder why the 'thread' isn't more straight!?
Sorry, but this is too abstract for whatever 7D really is. I think we've all put up with Google doing it...every day. I am from the 60's and I'm a little skeptical about the whole rainbow concept popping up all over again. Version 2 was much more striking.
