a machine shop, machinists use machine tools and cutting tools to make parts, usually of metal or plastic (but sometimes of other materials such as glass or wood). Machines are Computer Numerically Controlled.

this version has a font which has some similarity with main logo
not clear about font whether it is apropriate or not
Let people comment on one design at a time. That being said, I like the mark but I am not certain is screams CNC or Mechanic, but it does have an industrial feel. The first font you used is a no for me. You have a crisp symbol with a distressed font. It seems to be a contradiction. I prefer the second font, but let people with a better eye than my weigh in.
