There is a lot going on here. You need to work on making your mark a cohesive graphic. It seems as if you pulled the elements from other items and tried to make them work as a single unit. Yes, start from scratch with your own ideas and start with pencil and paper first.

Guys, I am obviously not an expert at this. What is the best way to engage one? My concern is that if I enlist someone, they may produce a beautifully sharp vector logo which I don't like, and then I have thrown money down the drain. Any advice would be appreciated.
