Same idea of combining athlete's initials plus his number 8. Decided to go with Russia's tricolor - that is Alex's homeland.

yw. I couldn't think of anything to add or take away. maybe tweak the colors, but that's it. great concept and execution.
It is a very nice logo but I see the symbol initial AU that according to the symbol are AO. Maybe if you close the red circle of the letter O be noticed unless a U. That's my humble opinion.
