Brief from client
To refresh their current branding with something more professional and simple.
So after lots of good discussions with the client, i ended up doing a lot of different edits. I think he's settled for this (fingers crossed) i thought id see what you guys thought. Also going to post the planned vehicle livery, this is almost signed off as well after lots of changes.
Maybe it's just me, but the details beneath the droplet almost emulate a flame, rather than a water droplet. It makes it seem more like a heating/cooling symbol at first glance. The wrench complicates the shape, at least for me.
I think it works. Especially in comparison to the last version.
I see a water droplet and from afar (thumbnail view) didn't get the wrench, but on closer inspection saw it, which was a nice surprise.
A plumber can be responsible for fire as well as water so think it works on both levels.
I could see that van going down the road and I wouldn't think that the logo looked out of place. If anything, it's something a bit different... It's set apart from A1 Plumbers Ltd
The only thing i'd look at changing is the black of the text and/or the font, but that's just me...
If you can tweak it with the above comments in mind, then great, but if not, that's cool as well.. in my humble opinion :)
Thanks for the comments guys... the name of the company used to be called All New Plumbing and Heating. So yes they do heating as well so if people can see heating in the symbol i dont think its such a bad thing.. Like i said, theres been loads of edits and i think the guy has settled with this, which im pretty pleased about :)

Heres the livery, as i said they were lots of edits so some compromising on both parts had to be done!

Also not a fan of rounded fonts, personally.
I too see a flame with the head of the wrench being a matchstick head. You may be onto something with the wrench but this is not working for now.
Keep it up M@!

i def like it better than version 1,i'm not a fan of the droplet, but i recognized the wrench, i'm also not a fan of the font.
are you using a special software to get the vehicles blueprint? don't they also need a dot number on the vehicle?
We have a CD at my work which has loads of different vehicle blueprints on... i dont understand what you mean by dot number on the vehicle though
