Amazon Prime Air

Brief from client
This is a logo I have made this afternoon prior to the release of the amazon prime air service.
I created the logo to work with the existing colour pallet for amazon, and wanted the logo to reflect the forward thinking technology improvements whilst also representing speed by angling the drone forwards to percieve motion.
I wanted the 'Air' section to seem whether its in a box of some sort being delievered.
Any feedback would be great :)

Ok, since I work at Amazon, I feel obligated to comment on this one =)
As a logo, this is really not working as it is way too complicated, with too many elements happening at the same time. The Amazon smile even appears twice!
At Amazon, we always go for simple designs, not to be confused with simplistic No need to over complicated things with tiny bits and bobs. With millions upon millions of references, we can't confuse the customer with intricate logos and icons.
Also, why the original Amazon logo is so butchered? =) You can find it anywhere, particularly on this very site. http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/logo/amazon-2
Here's the real Amazon Prime Air logo. See how it's very simple in its design, without any superfluous elements such as boxes, icons, yet still retaining that element of "perceived motion".
Globally, if you want to make fictitious logos, which is totally fine, don't go for this kind of drab assignment. Working on a sub entity of an already existing business isn't the most exciting way to develop your creativity. Go ahead and create a 100% original logo for a fake company, or just an association of two concepts, or totally rebrand a well known company.
Keep it up!
