My advice, since you are a beginner, would be to not try come out with your own font. Learn about what is already existing before creating a new one.

I don't think the shape and placement of these letters adds anything good. The choice of shading is very hard to read in the thumbnail.

Maybe (seeing that you're a musician) you should just hire someone to make a logo for you!? If you hire someone to make a nice logo for you it'll quite possibly be a lot more pleasing to the eyes, it'll get your message/talents across better, and get you more gigs or whatever you're striving to get by having a logo, you know what I mean?

I admire your tenacity in putting new ideas up, but it seems that your options are to either keep struggling to come up with something that works and maybe not get the very best in the end, OR hire a designer to create a logo that looks professional, is aesthetically pleasing, and gets your talent across to the viewer.
