Personal branding am freelancer.
I am a journalist, I want to update my brand.
the strength of the concept is based on the eye, the initials A and O.

You have told me that the 'A' is the Star but I have been staring at this eye for I don't even know how long and I can't see an 'A' in it at all, or a star for that matter. Best as I can tell maybe the A has something to do with that thing under the iris, but if that is the case, that thing under the iris distracts from the eye itself and probably should be removed.
This next part is impressive, I must admit. There is a circle here... and... I can't see the 'O' in it. The divisions of the eye, and the knobby bits make it so I can't see the 'O', in a circle. I'm dumbfounded.
It is hard to see the fonts, as this is pretty tiny on the screen, but I like them, and the colours. The gradient even works, which is rare. I just can't understand how that symbol is anything. Sorry.
're absolutely right ... I started trying to keep the A star, but the eye exceeded priority.
I am also confused.

I also cannot see the A and O, the symbol looks complicated. I like the font choice.
