Brief from client 

Revamp logo (student brief)
Simplify and modernise the companies logo whilst still retaining some reference to the long history of the company.

I ditched the very detailed old styley designed parrot, and went with a basic shape that is meant to subtly represent a cookie/biskuit with a bite out of it. The throwback to the age of the company is in the script typography, the black and white, and obviously the "since 1983"

I love everything about this logo. If you can dial down the hot spot in the text.

I think this logo may work much better without the circle, the typography is very good and I think that says it all.
