The idea is there and the overall symbol is too..... I have to disagree with my colleague Katrina though about the colour scheme. The transparencies aren't clear enough (knowing the beginning and ends of each hidden petal) Also, when it comes to reproduction, transparent colours ALWAYS seem to change and clients won't be happy about that. This symbol would look so much better if you lost the transparencies altogether and maybe used an outline instead.
The "ror" in aurora isn't the same size as the other letters. I don't mind the font, but the sizes in relationship with each other need to be adjusted.

The colors are nice except the green. also tazmanian_devil told you about the size of the last 3 letters. The second font doesn't go with the rest

nice idea though.
