Aviles Home Solution Logo

Brief from client
Something simple, but that can be Identified easly..
I Made it using 2 colors, to represent the solution, made a bulb inside a house which is part of the A. Comments appreciated
The A is way too big and there's no reason for it at all. The overoveroverused house icon and the even more overused lightbulb are the cheapest clipart you can find on the whole internet. They are not integrated into the design at all, just dropped there like some leftover by mistake. The bright yellow color burns my eyes out, no way anyone can read this from a distance. Forget this whole thing, find a nice font, find a nice color and either come up with a more unique symbol/idea or just leave that part out.
I totally appreciate you actually trying (so many logos on the critique page look as though they were mindlessly thrown together in a two minute fit of mock-creativity) but this does need some work.
I agree with oscar about needing to tone down the yellow- it's too bright (Chayd picked a pretty nice/less harsh yellow) and I also agree about the clip art/big A situation. Neither of them are needed- just create your own symbol (and maaaybe steer clear of light bulbs and houses altogether!?) and start over.
The lightbuld isn't a Clip art, I vectorized the light bulb, but thanks for making me realize, i'd better think a better way to add vectorized things, not make them look like clip arts. Thanks a lot .
I like the house shape in the A and I do like the lightbult idea even tough it is much more complex than the rest of the logo, I find the A is too extended in height but I would see just a wide bold A with the house shape and the the text Aviles Home Solution under a black line that would extend to the width of the A.

Good first try but it needs some work,
i would adjust the fonts.
I would also suggest losing the light bulb
yeah, you're right, the light bulb even has like too detailed for a simple logo.
Like your version. I'll give it another try, thanks.
