Client: Graphics Studio, with insights/knowledge of the occult and spiritually minded. Wanted to portray in logo.

Overkill and cheesy is the first word that comes to mind.
Waaaay too complicated, too many elements and effects. It kinda looks like a logo for a video game in the 90's.
The main font is pretty cool though. I would get rid of all the corny stuff like the clip arty wings and strip it down to the essential.
I also like to know what the occult and all that silly stuff has to do with a graphic studio =)
Wow, it's all happening here. I think this doesn't qualify as a logo, but Shaw has given you some advice which should help that.
Also, the text at the top will be unreadable when small.
Something to keep in mind on your revision...
If you were to show this in just black and white (and I'm not talking about gray scale, just two colors, black and white), how would it look?
