Band Logo

Brief from client
A logo I made for my band, I've been staring at it for hours and something is definitely missing. Any tips would be helpful. I'm not a professional designer so please be gentle haha.
1) Do NOT put your type upside down. That is a 100% no no.
2) You should make another circle, and then use your "Type On Path" tool to wrap the type perfectly. It looks a tad off, but that could just be an optical illusion.
3) I enjoy your concept, its quite retro. however, there are a lot of elements. the two (or three?) fonts don't go well together at all. You should probably use a bold sans serif if you are going to stick with a script font. You might also consider using two different colors, instead of two blues that seriously clash. This is pop punk, you should feel fresher, more young, more fun.
Your fonts are not working. I think if you keep the script font, and the badge style, the circle(s) behind it are a bit too large. Making them a bit smaller will give your name a better hierarchy.
The secondary font is too weak in comparison to the script- maybe try something sans serif (as Erin said) and a bit bolder than what you have now.
Also, work on finding a good place for "the." It kinda looks like you "shoved" it into that spot, but its not working.
All logos- no matter if professional who has been at it for years, or new designer- will all go through many, many revisions! So don't get discouraged! Keep at it!
fonts aren't good same for the colors, and you should NEVER have a text upside down. i think you should rework on it get ideas off of the internet :)
don't worry if it takes time...it's how you learn ;)

Oh, another thought.
If you are going with the whole..vintage badge look, consider custom distressing this logo. I've attached an example.
A badge like this would be cool as well.
