I agree with botw tho if it is a "just for fun" type project you should really try to let your creative juices flow all over your computer!
Just make sure the juices don't short out your computer! =)

Why don't you try a version with the O as the barcode

This could be a good idea... But remember that a logo should reduce well. If you reduce your logo, your O look like it filled with gray...

I would use all the word as a barcode, and i would make sure every bars of my code is bold enough to be perceptible when reduced.

i think it got lost immediately when you tried putting the barcode into that. go a different route.
