Brief from client 

The point of a good Logo Design is to create a unique link to a brand in the mind of the consumer. Logo Design should always strive for individuality.

you hit the nail on the head in the brief from client but that doesn't seem to be evident in your logo. the gradients aren't needed, neither is the line next to scientific. as for the graphic mark it doesn't really communicate a unique idea to me, neither would it work on a smaller scale. Revise it and create your own individual idea.
