I would be careful about using a front-facing peacock. The television network NBC is very heavily branded and my mind goes right to that, especially because NBC uses 6 colors in their logo.
I'm not really feeling your color choice because I think there are just too many. I know, I know... A peacock is generally considered to have multiple colors, but if it were me doing a peacock logo, I would stick with teals, purples, and dark blues. Also, pick 2-3 colors that aren't black or white and stick to those. Sometimes, in imagery where multiple colors can be used, a really well-designed piece with very conscientious use of a few colors can be just as impactful. Maybe a peacock from the side?
My last comment is I think your graphic is too simple in shape. When I think of the word "pretty" and other similar words, my mind goes to flowing, organic shapes. This image looks really flat and stagnant, and a lot of that has to do with your choice of very plain shapes.
Good luck, hope that helps.

I think you did excellent job on the head but feathers need some work. They are not in proportion. The circles (eye feather) are rather too big while those lines are small. Equally the gap between them is not working (way too big).

I like what you did with the crest and I feel you should duplicate that for the eye feathers. You should reshape them (circle not working).

thanks bro, but if i make the eyefeather, it will be realistic shape but i was very aware to give it artistic and simple shape in which it can be at least understood that it is a peapock. it is a logo of a beauty parlour. so suppose the tail feather represents colorful circular makeup box.and the colorful peacock represents a woman who is decorated in this beauty parlour. lol..

This is a terrible logo. Go back to sketching. Who works on a brown background for a peacock logo? Always work on a white or black background and leave colors for when you are done sketching or finished your logo. It seems like you didn't spend more then 10 minutes on this.

Your font type is unbalanced the upper one could work the other one brings it down. Never use more then 3 different colors when making a logo. In fact bring it down to 2. Good luck.

I can't do your work for you. You gotta figure that out yourself.

What kind of graphic designer would go asking people to color their work in for them? If you're uncertain of something, sketch. Its as easy as that. Try everything that comes to mind.

Asking for pointers and advice is totally fine. But don't try to make people do your work for you.

i confess i am not so good designer. i have already recolor it. but i said if u dont like recolored, i cannot think anymore. so i asked help suggesting possible color.

Okay so your best bet here would be to small it down and see how it works. The "feathers" are indeed not neatly aligned.Your bottom lining is not aligned. There are too many oval shapes Its a very chaotic logo as it is now. You should try simplifying it and see how that works out for you. As for color usage i recommend these:

Blue Hex code: 213FC4
Green Hex code: 14B70B

The reason i'm providing hex codes is because when you input the codes you will get a feeling at what color shade you can work towards to.

Goodluck.

To be honest, changing the font and colors won't change a lot. You need to restart from scratch, on paper preferably. And get as much inspiration as you can from www.stocklogos.com www.logopond.com and www.dribbble.com

Also a quick research of "peacok logo" on google wouldn't hurt : http://tinyurl.com/njv7m5f

oh no,i am tired ! everybody gives me advice only but nobody helps me redrawing or reshaping it. i am totally hesitated and feeingl a lot of harrasment hearing a lot of critique. somebody suggested to lessen color, somebody says to make it colorful. what will i do? i just recolored and redrawn it all day long and now i can not think any more. my brain does not storm now.
however, can i know why do u not like my idea? i wanted to show a colorful peacock to mean that a lady will also be pretty and colorful after coming out from this parlour.in this way, i have chosen the most pretty bird 'peacock' to mean a pretty lady? if NBC can use a peacock being a tv channel so why i cannnot use it for a beauty parlour? though a beautyful lady is mostly like a peacock? however, i searched in net to see some peacock. and i found many types of peacock having tail like NBC logo. so i wanted to not copy them. then i drawn a simplest peacock with just some circles! does it not look good? but unfortunately i saw you also disliked my symbol.next topic is typography. i have edited my first typography and now i use bickham script pro. i think this dancing of letter is perfect for this type of organization? otherwise do u think this font is perfect for a law firm logo or a university? so can i know why did u dislike my typography? last topic is color. when NBC uses 6 colors, ebay, google use 4 colors for their logo it is not a problem, but when i use more than 3 colors it is a problem. but i have tried to folllow NBC colors. can u say me if anybody cannot color a peacock by multiple colors, which is the object that can be colored variously? i made the tail of the peacock by some circles. i colored them in such a way that it seems a make-up box. is it not perfect for a beauty parlor to express a make-up box by using peacock's tail? so why do u not like my color of first logo? if u really want to help me please show me this after recoloring retyping, re-symbolizing etc. because my brain stops working.

Everyone here is simply giving their opinion, based on their perspective. Art & design is subjective.

I thought my advise was pretty good, so here is my clear, blunt opinion:
Redesign your graphic. Take your current design and never look at it again. I think when you are saying that you are "re-drawing" your current idea, you are simply changing colors and typefaces and not actually redesigning anything. My advise to you is break out a sketchbook and physically draw some new ideas, then take it to the computer after coming up with some solid ideas on paper first. There is a big disconnect with the name of your brand (Pretty Peacock) and the graphic you have chosen, because it is simply not very pretty. It looks like cut-out construction paper with simple circles and rectangles.

I suggested to only use 2-3 colors because sometimes in design, using more colors makes the overall image look cluttered, which is one of the problems with this current graphic. You can convey the idea of a peacock without using 6 or more colors. Peacocks have feathers, which are visually very different from most feathers. The shape of a peacock's head is very different from most other birds. There are many other graphic elements you can focus on with your design instead of using a whole front-facing peacock, which has been done before (NBC).

The forum here is to give advice to help you with your design. Nobody is going to re-design your symbol for you, and quite frankly, in order to be a better designer, taking critique and altering your designs (even if that means scrapping a design and starting over) are things you need to do yourself. It's the only way to get better.

Again, I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

ok, you don't have to get upset :)
We all try to help you, in a way or another, that's why you are here.
Practically you get free brainstorming.

A logo is meant to easily represent something. Easily!
Easy to understand, easy to read, easy to memorize, easy to asimilate with the activity it represents, even easy to print.
You should consider multiple "bad" things about your layout. One of them are the colours: the text itself is annoying and fatiquating, adding the multi-coloured peacock on top of that, well... you get a messed up situation.
The colors are bad too, from my perspective. Try lighter collors and not so oposed chromaticly. Look for "flat colors" on google; you will see what I mean.
Someone advised you here to look around google for peacock logos.
It is not a bad idea at all. Have you done that ?
Don't be a stubborn.
Goodluck !!

PS: it looks awfull even for kindergarten.
