Not feeling this one. After a second or two, I saw the beak. But I saw a leaf at first, for sure. The green color doesn't help. Some more context of birds is needed here.

my point of view, always, not to make the logo 100% readable ..
nicer to go deep, or for abstraction ...

as i told you, it is just my opinion ...
and by the way, the colour has been picked by the client ..

It took me some time to realize it's a beak too. It needs some tweak, the curves don't match each other. It's also a bit too big. Maybe it'll work better if you reduce it's size.

Globally, I think you should push the idea further. Maybe you could mix the beak and the B.

i totally agree .. i will try to combine the beak with the "B" .. it will be much nicer ..

I actually saw a wing (beak) and a belly with no head. I thought if you added a head in a contrasting color and incorporate that color in the font it would begin working. I love the green just needs a contrast or complimentary color added to pop. If it were a wing I would try extending it to be the "y". Love the font. I do not like the eye or the colors chosen for the eye in the second idea.

There are also a few jinky (technical term, LOL) things going on with the curves on both pieces. The top right of the "wing" needs an anchor point and smoothed. The distance between them, on the bottom curve, is a little off and the top left of the "wing" also needs smoothed.

I also saw a leaf first then I thought it is a butterfly wing. I did not realise the beak untill I read the comments. I think it will be a good idea if you work on it a little more.
