Brief from client
"The finest in graphic design, digital media, & photography/videography."
Sums up the company as a whole.
Was given free reign with the branding.
Wow. I love this busted up look. I think the whole concept really works.
Two concerns. The subtext is too small to maintain readability unless it's only included in large format displays.
Second, I wonder if you might play with the shade of yellow used for creative. It might just be the gradient in the background but it loses some contrast as it is now.
Thanks for the comment!
I will mess around with color / sizing and placement of things.
Seems like the 3 comments all have similar likes/dislikes. haha
Makes it easy to know what to tweak or ultimately just remove.
I do like the idea of this symbol, although I think you could use flat colors instead of gradients. I also think the yellow used is too dull and needs to be bright. The gradient behind it gets lost easily, maybe consider a circle to add some shape variation. Here's the style I think you're trying to go for, or what I would suggest looking into. For some of the shapes, I think they could use reworking also. The one at the mouth gives the character somewhat of a metal jaw with the spikes that are at the end. There's also two small shapes I think you can remove, the one at the bottom of the bust, and a very small one where the head meets the neck. Hope this helps
I browsed poly art for a bit prior to doing this first draft, but didn't want to jump on the band wagon completely. I wanted to kind of spin off of it and make it less complex.
I agree with all you said though!
Will definitely be working more on this to tweak it toward a better final product!
I agree with Jon re: the subtext and Brandon took the words out of my mouth regarding the inside of the head pattern. He gave the perfect example of what it needs.
The detail that you've currently got doesn't reduce well at all. I hate the strokes between the shapes within the head and also the gradients, which are always a dangerous game.
Thanks for the comment!

really nice concept logo, only i want see the 1 color version or noneffects version. Because you need remember what if one logo looks great in black and white, looks great in colors.
