I don't understand the splotches. it's simple but really doesn't convey audio. Wouldn't shock waves work more for audio than a ring?

I don't mind the splotches on the planet, but I don't understand why they're on the text.

I agree with 2423 about maybe trying some shock waves or something other than the ring- but I don't hate the ring at all. You said you wanted clean logo, and I think you've got that happening or will have after a few minor modifications!

ps with regards to the splotches on the planet... its good.. no planet is smooth, these maybe represent craters or something? and the splotches over the text again.... most planets have asteroids in their orbit running wild around the outside.. i can picture that minus these splotches it really wouldnt have the same effect... it works..

i like it too! the only thing i would say is that your "P" is very close to looking like a "D"

I love it. Simple — to the point and beautiful to look at. I like the craters in the typography. It unifies it all in a clever way. You could die-cut these craters into stationery and cd covers.
