Bluebird

Brief from client
Client wanted something more hipsterish than a tradition logo for their new business.
just looking for some feed back on the design. client wanted a vertical and horizontal logo version
Definitely hipsterish. I like the Bluebird font but not crazy about the Irrigation font. sans serif is fine, but I would look for something a bit softer and a tad bolder and a pinch smaller.
The B and the I in bird is a bit hard to read, maybe you can trick the font a little so the I is a little separated from the B and close the circle of the b just a tad. also have just for kicks and giggles, see how the a white gap would look between the tail and the twig
I dig the style and the little bird, and you definitely hit the hipster vibe. However the fonts need work. There is some odd spacing in "bluebird" (especially the Bl in blue and ird in bird). The sub font needs to be a thicker stroke I think to hold up to the rest of the logo.

I feel b is slanting slightly more than l and d.
