For a new Digital Engagement Agency - helping businesses to build their online brand through the use of social media, email marketing and SEO.
The brand must look and feel modern, fresh with simple designs.

This doesn't look modern.... and I don't mean to be an ass, but it doesn't look too good either.
When I look at certain logos (such as this one) it's almost like I don't even see the logo, I just see how long it took to make. Which isn't to say that a quickly made logo or a super simple logo can never work- they TOTALLY can- but this just doesn't. It's boring and generic looking- to me! Maybe others will love it, but I would start over and give it some more time- be more creative!!
there are a problem with the visual weight, in the letter "o", which seems not be centered, and the typography is very common, but i like the idea and the color purple, it reflects creativity ;)
A few steps past the simplistic line, I'm afraid. But I see what you did here.
Also, mind the kerning, this plain O is floating about.
