BreadFruit is a fruit first found in Hawaii and then introduced to the Caribbean islands its a fruit that encompasses many facets. It is a staple in dishes of many tropical islands and countries with a unique taste which is similar to baked bread. We need logo to be created for a cafe in a trendy new York neighborhood. This is a new store opening that's family owned, serving Caribbean and American breakfast, lunch, and lattes,etc. Logo needs to be used for signage on storefront as well as other branding items such as t-shirts, website, business cards, menus, etc. Looking for a Logo that will stand out to catch attention of customers driving by on main road and has a design that is effortless and can stand the test of time.
This is one of the versions of the logotype with illustration of Breadfruit, this font was chosen to give a caribbean flare, since the letters resemble branches on tree.

The symbol looks like a clip art or at least a picture picked on the internet and clumsily altered on Photoshop.
There's way more to logo design than just using a raw font and sticking a symbol next to it.
Thanks for the critique, the symbol is actually hand drawn then drawn in illustrator, but if you have any specific pointers on improvement that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Well, props to you for creazting yourself, but it not working. Too many random shapes, curves ans details, not stylized and personalyzed enough.
