Funny. For the coat of arms, did you create and is there any signification or did you just pick up an existing one?
The inner piece draws heavily from the Royal Standard (which is appropriate for a British club), the crowns a symbolic distinction and indicative of the Union's democratic leadership hierarchy. The outer section is of the ribboned arrangement the tends to be used by institutions of learning and education: the Union prefers to see itself as intellectual etc.
On the web, a monotone red version is used, and other monotones are used in print. Official bound volumes (and suchlike) use the full colour logo with gold leaf in place of the feeble yellow.
