I see what you're trying to do with the C3,,but I am just not in love with the symbol. It reminds me, and I hate to say this, of a mouth turned sideways and that's the epiglottis in the middle. I would rethink this.
better rethink,it is mind which molds things.
Get rid of the C shape inside de the symbol and you're all set.

I think it works great, much better than the original version.
Great use of the negative space, you don't need to overburden the symbol with anything else.
