i think Font - Perfect, Idea - Good, Colors - Perfect, but isee you have the same information repeated. My Friends . bar-cofee-fastfoods. Remove one of them. Stay the shape of cups and the big fonts. Or stay just with the circle one. Also if you work with more removing the spaces in the white strokes between letters and make more a fluent white would be more cache. Thats my thougt, anyway is is on a good way.

I'm sorry but the tracking on the text throwing it as its not consistent, its also not going round the circle very well - looks a bit clunky. In fact I dislike the font all together and I even have a coffee shop in my home town that has something extremely similar to this already which means you haven't thought hard enough to find a solid concept here. Now I will admit that finding a new way of saying "coffee shop" is possibly an impossible task due to the sheer quantity of them but this looks closer to being a highschool football teams logo than a coffee house.

I also agree with the comment above, you need to lose the text underneath and replace with a tagline,"where the coffee is as hot as our waitresses for example ;)

Not working for me at all. The lettering, especially with the thick white outline, around the "NDS" are producing so many little, tiny weird shaped spaces! What many "rookie" designers have to keep in mind is how these logos will be reproduced at various sizes. These spaces will most certainly fill in with white when printed small. That will change the look altogether. Definitely simply the lettering and I would lose the outline. I agree with above about the duplication... Either keep the 2 cups above in or out of a circle with lettering below only, or get rid of all lettering below. The idea is tired, but like 11 said above, not many ideas left for a coffee shop.
