Capstone

Brief from client
01. It is an abstract design based on ‘swastika’
02. It also looks like a bird’s view (Top View) of
the pyramid
03. It is a colorful eye catching logo, so the people
can easily identify the ‘Capstone’ anywhere

Not sure why you would want to reference a swastika in a "all about people" business. A pinwheel might be a better reference. The layout is nice, but the number of colors is a little much.
I thought the exact same thing about the symbol.
Was thinking the same thing media.... anything "swastika" is such a politically incorrect and disturbing reference to a terrible time in history. Let's strike that from the record. I'll go with pinwheel as well. I also agree that there are too many colours and certainly no blending/fading is needed, especially since some of the triangles are small. I'm not totally sold on the font and I'm not sure why Cap and Stone are different shades. I like the idea, but I think you need to simplify it a little.
Well in India and Nepal swastika is still a symbol of wellbeing and success. The real thing is in the fonts and kerning that is really bothering my eyes. Isn't it obvious?
Well man, your only error: have said something about a swastika, nobody would notice it.
Other thing (major issue) WTFn'Hell CapStone does in the world?
About the colors: i like them, better if the company is doing something in the toys market.
About typography: It doesn't look as professional as it seems at first sight.
About composition: Why the PROTECH is as near of the P of the main symbol? don't you think it would look better just below of "Stone"?. If you want to keep it where it is, it doesn't say anything to me (but i'm nobody if you want).
About swastika: as the majority of symbols it comes from older cultures than Adolf Hitler and its mental illness, so, take it just as another figure, in fact, the problem here was that, in the moment as your critics had read "swastika", they took the whole thing in a different way, just because their cultural values.
But if you, EastonMedia, are trying to put in the primal subject the values that Hitler defended, well man, maybe you are a little bit sick too, and maybe you're a dangerous person for the establishment.
Hope this helps.
too many colors and the lettering appears too tight.
Looks like windows XP color pallet. The symbol is too much, you have an entire story to it,

I don't make the connection, and the swastika can be offending to some people.
The only think i like is Capstone, if you re-think the symbol, and place PROTECH in a different way, you can pull something out of this.
This logo is not very unique, there are many logos with very similar symbols and colors out there. I think all parts are a bit too close to eachother. The difference in the black colors in the company name is barely recogniseble, it rather looks like a mistake and will not come out in print.
