Brief from client 

Something that's both festive and formal with vibrant colors.

The formal "C" is 2-dimensional and black to contrast the festive and fun "N". The top hat adds to the formal aspect while the ribbon "ties" the whole logo together.

This doesn't work, unfortunately.

These 2 fonts don't go well together. The 3D effect doesn't have any purpose and puts the whole thing off balance.

It's globally too complicated. Too many elements such as the ribbon and the hat only clutter the logo. The composition is way off, especially with the C separated from the rest of the word and Now going downward.

My advice would be to scratch it and get a lot of inspiration from great logos.
