Brief from client 

Clean logo which will hopefully become recognisable at a glance

Made the C overlap the G at the bottom, creating more emphasis on the C (solving the main design flaw)

The best so far. Did you think about a complete C and G combo, since the only difference is the cross bar of the G? Just a thought.
