Oh, man. That slightly slanted type has to go.

Go for something a little more subtle and elegant. Not sure how I feel about the pencil face, but it's got a charm to it.

The symbol looks cute. But why a pencil? Does it have anything to do with the concept of the brand?

I agree that the font is an eyesore. Something matching or complimenting the roundness of the may be better.

The last thing I think about using in a chef school would be a pencil.
I am sure they use them, even take notes, but I don't associate pencils with chefs at all.

I will use book rather than pencil. agreed with Shawali, font too sharp for the symbol
